JENIFER DEAN
Owner & General Manager

Jenifer Dean had her first tastes of non-alcoholic cider as a child. Her father was something of an amateur winemaker and it was not uncommon for carboys of wines, beers and even saki to be bubbling away in the basement of their home. After 20 years in the restaurant business, she returned to school to complete the Wine Technology program at Loyalist College. She’s been the General Manager and Cider maker at The County Cider Company since 2000.

DANNIELLE DAVIDSON
Production Manager & Cider Maker

Dannielle has worked at County Cider since 1997. She left to pursue opportunity, adventure and travel for a few years, but returned home to attend Loyalist College’s Biotechnology Technician program where she graduated Dean’s List. After doing her graduation placement in the laboratory under the tutelage of Jenifer Dean, Dannielle stayed on and has since moved up to Production Manager. She’s also judged North America’s finest ciders at GLINTCAP. This girl is on fire.

MACKENZIE VANHECKE
Office Co-ordinator & Licensee Services

Born and raised in Prince Edward County, Mackenzie and her adorable family still call the County home. She continues to bring her excellent customer service skills to all aspects of work at County Cider and is our main point of contact for licensees and cider lovers province wide. Clients and customers rave about her level-headed, friendly approach. No wonder she’s always smiling.

DEAN LEWIS
Cider Maker

Dean has worked as our Cider Maker at County Cider since 2018. Dean began working with us after completing the Biotechnology Technician program at Loyalist College. Dean is very hands on and you can find Dean working in all aspects of production, including picking apples, blending juice, fermenting and bottling. His favourite cider to make and drink is Waupoos Premium. If you enjoy drinking our ciders, you can thank Dean for his excellent craftsmanship.

BRAYDEN THOMPSON
Production Assistant / Delivery Driver

Born and raised in the County, Brayden has worked with County Cider since 2020. You can find him out on the road delivering cider or in production cleaning kegs, bottling cider and having an all around good time. His favourite cider is Waupoos Premium. Brayden is a super friendly guy and we are stoked to have him on the team!

SPENCER HAENNEL
Retail Operations Manager

Born and raised in Prince Edward County, Spencer has been with County Cider for four years and counting. He plays an active role in operations, events, and overall guest experience, supporting the team across the business. Spencer takes pride in the County Cider tradition and the people behind it. His favourite cider is Blackberry Peach.
